 Restorative Yoga
 
Sunday, February 12th from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Relax and release your body, mind and spirit and fill your heart with Yoga love for Valentine’s Day.
 Enjoy an afternoon of stretch and supported poses as you release deep tension. Bring a loved one to share the experience.
 
All are welcomed. No yoga experience required and dress comfortably.

About Pipal Leaf Yoga Studio

  Pipal Leaf Yoga Studio has honey-toned wood floors and streaming natural light, enhancing the Zen environment. Daytime classes view a beautiful tree while soft lighting and shimmering candlelight surround evening class. These elements create peace and quiet allowing students to have a richer, deeper practice. The studio very comfortably holds eight students making classes personal and assisting with asanas effortless. Private groups (book clubs, birthdays, offices) are welcome to reserve the studio to practice together while enjoying each other’s company and celebrate the benefits of Yoga!  Gift certificates are also available.

   About the Staff

  Margaret R. Kornack, 500 hr. RYT is certified in the Kripalu Yoga tradition and has been practicing yoga for 20 plus years. As owner of Pipal Leaf Yoga Studio she feels strongly about the importance of yoga in bringing balance and awareness to the physical being and peace to the inner Self. Her practice also has a noticeable interest in the Iyengar School and an emphasis on Yoga as a means to encourage healing for depression, stress and anxiety.

   Roxana Albut Sahlean, M. Ed.,LMHC, is a licensed psychotherapist, Reiki practitioner and registered Kripalu yoga teacher. She has been a student of yoga for over 20 years and enjoys exploring new worlds and old civilizations through reading, travel, music and dance, Chinese martial arts, Ayurveda, the science of nutrition, and the art of cooking. Students have described her classes  as “sensuous”, “intriguing”, “energizing, yet relaxing”, “encouraging and safe”. She strives, in the Kripalu tradition, to promote self-awareness, compassion, and joyful living.

   David Helfand, RYT  is a Kripalu certified Yoga teacher with additional training in Level Two Healing Touch and has experienced firsthand 
the healing power and energy within the body. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UVM and continues to study yoga 
and advance his career as a counselor while working as an In Home Counselor for troubled children and adolescents at Germaine Lawrence in Arlington, MA.
 
 Jeannie Goldstone, MA, RYT-200 is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and registered yoga teacher trained in the Anusara style.  She has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and finds the practice indispensably nourishing to body, mind and spirit.  Jeannie seeks to abandon self-judgement in order to find a deep stillness within and encourages her students to do the same.  
 
  Diann Siegel, RYT-200 is a seasoned, warm & engaging teacher.  Diann offers a safe space in which students can deepen their yoga practice through self-observation, balancing effort with ease, breath and movement.  Students can expect to increase flexibility, strength, alignment, balance, focus and sense of inner calm. Diann's 25 years of experience include training in Kripalu (200 RYT), Yoga Nidra, Yoga Therapy, Yoga for Children with Special Needs and Adaptive Yoga for MS. In addition, Diann has an interest in other styles of yoga and facilitates workshops in Svaroopa, Restorative and Chair Yoga.
